What does friendship mean to you? Does it mean I’ve got your back no matter what? How about the truth no matter what. If someone turns on you they weren’t the friend you thought they were. They should be honest with you even if it hurts, and sometimes it will. If your friendship is a true one then they’ll let you know when something isn’t right, when you need to girl up and say your sorry. It’s the kind of relationship that you could not talk to each other for weeks and then pick right back up where you left off. Time has no impact on the way you are with each other. Don’t let others’ insecurities ruin a good thing between two friends. People get jealous of relationships people have so they’ll try and wedge themselves into yours and upset the rhythm. Be in tune to who you are but also who your true friends really are. Sometimes your best friend is your mom, that’s the kind of friends you want in your life. My mom had that kind of friendship it lasted her a lifetime. Be a true friend if you want a true friend.
